Like Hollywood, we can see a Board called Pattaya city on way to boat. We stopped by and took picture..Some localities approached us, asking if we were interested in any rides, and was offering some packages for different rides. But we decided to first reach the beach, then take some rides...

We had great time in boat. We relaxed enjoying the cool breeze and view. Also enjoyed taking lot of snaps .

Transport to Island, by this ferry...

In next 45mins we reached near the beach.. Here there are different beaches and you will need a cab/bike to reach those beaches.

one of the beach....

Each beach has different activities, ranging from Banana boat, paragliding and ocean water walking and more... Shopping options are good here, varying for clothes, hats, footwears and lot more...

I checked for some sun screen in Eleven/Seven

Some wat(temple) we saw on way to beach...

We were approached by a localite, for ocean water walking activity. We bargained a little and got a deal of  1300bahts for  two of us, including under water pictures.. That guy took us on a motor bike to ocean water walking point...

These are people, who offer rides..

You can put all your belongings, including purse and stuff in bag he gives .Diver will help us wear oxygen  helmet and we are taken down to sea bed by the diver

Can you see helmet and  oxygen pipes ?

Ramesh was first taken down,  diver then came back , to take me down.Ramesh was all alone in sea bed and he said it was scary :) Generally  one diver stays with a group of 6-8 persons and shows them around . Luckily with less tourists  it was only two of us who were taken down that time...

Takes 5mins to adjust ,standing in  underwater

There were lots of fishes and much more under water creatures.. They would hand over food to you and then the fishes will start nibbling bread from your hand, Apart from seeing fishes up close, we were also shown coral pieces and other interesting creatures. It was 30mins with totally new experience, we had wonderful time, experiencing under water for first time...

This is a creature in under water.

We then came back to other beach and checked for Banana boat.Again there
were no much tourists who opted banana boat at the time. It costed us 300bahts for two of us..This ride was bumpy and scary.. I was scared to death, that i would fall in water, later felt  thrilling once ride was over :)...

Banana ride...
All set to go ride in banana boat...

We then played for a while in beach, it was very hot.. We then decided to check out for other activities, and found a person offering for  parasailing costing 500bahts per person.. We waited a while for  small boat to transfer to parasailing point. once we reached parasailing point, they immediately put life
jackets to ramesh, before they could tie completely, it took off . I got so scared and shouted to stop, they were not following a word what i spoke, by then ramesh waved his hands, then i felt hes ok,and started to take pics of him sailing.

Ramesh in parasailing..

Next it was my turn, they tied well. I was looking to see if anyone accompanies me, but they told its solo,i was scared and insisted,i need someone along with me, they told i can either sail or skip this.. I took some courage and sailed alone, first two minutes i had closed my eyes, after that i felt little ok,and enjoyed views and breeze from height.. It lasted for 10mins....

Breeze was about to put me in water, those guys had to pull me to land...

We then went to boat boarding point, and waited for next boat.. We got boat in next 10mins, and reached  Bali hai building in next 45mins. From there we hired a tuk-tuk and reached our hotel by  4pm...

Tuk tuk in pattaya, common mode of transport

We had  Alcazar show at  8;00pm. Decided to leave hotel by 6;30pm..Since we had some time, we enjoyed couple of hours in hotel pool. Since it was late noon there were no hotel guests in pool. Had great time in pool.. We came out at 6;00pm from pool, got ready and started at 7;00pm....

  1. very nicely written about pattaya
should I assume that it is wiser to reach the beach and then negotiate for the underwater walk and the parasailing
