DAY 2 : GOA

Miramar Beach is in 5mins walk from Miramar  residency Hotel.

We decided to go to beach for sunrise.  It was around  5.30am. We hardly saw any tourist people, but Since it was right next to hotel, the hotel  employees were around.. We spent 30mins watching the sun set and took few pics.  It was a nice experience ...

We came back from the beach.  Took Shower and had breakfast at Miramar residency.  Breakfast buffet is part of the room charge. We had excellent food before starting our day....

We had booked for  North Goa trip from GTDC.  This tour covered :

Mayem Lake
Aguada Fort
Calangunte Beach
Panaji Handicrafts emporium

Our First stop was Mayem lake. This  is nestled in a rather hilly terrain and is a beautiful setting. Many hindi movies are shot at this location.  We  took a boat ride  and it was very scenic and thrilling.

Our Next stop was fort Aguada.
Fort Aguada is a well-preserved 17th Century Portuguese fort.. It also has a  lighthouse.  It is located on Sinquerim Beach, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Walking around the Fort took us an hour. From top of the Fort there is good view of the sea.
It was very hot . we took some photos and returned to the Bus.

Our  Next  stop was for Lunch . After  Lunch we were to visit Calangute Beach & Panaji Handicrafts Emporium. But we decided to skip Handicrafts emporium as the  Guide said there are water activities in this beach and we decided to try ParaSailing..

After Para sailing.  We  stepped into near by shacks for some snacks and drinks.. This place has a good shade and it was relaxing in that scortching heat.

We spent couple of hours here.. Ramesh tried temporary tattoo for fun.. Since we had  skipped the rest of trip group. We took an auto back to the hotel room...
