Our actual plan was to go Dubai..When i started checking for flights to Dubai from Bangalore, i saw most of flights had 8-10hrs of layover in Delhi. Also air tickets from Delhi-Dubai was 20k per person, whereas from Bangalore to Dubai was 30k per person.. Then i told Ramesh, neeways i havent seen Tajmahal, why dont we fly to Delhi, spend couple of days See Agra-Delhi then take flight from Delhi-Dubai...
We booked the flights accordingly, We had booked the cab, but Cab dint turn up nor called us.. We tried calling them, no response.. Luckily my brother was awake and he said he would drop us.. We checked-in our Baggage, and had more time to board the flight... We wandered in airport and took some pics too..
In 3 hours we reached Delhi... We directly took Pre-Paid Cab to Railwaystation.. We had already booked Train from Delhi to Agra.
We reached station early and had 30mins for train.. Delhi railway station was not that clean... Felt uncomfortable to wait there..
Luckily train came on time, since i booked just couple of weeks before, I could only manage to get Non-Ac 2nd class sleeper.. It was not dirty, it was super clean either. It was very hot making it tiring journey.. Ramesh kept on telling we should have gone in Cab from Delhi-Agra.... I thought its just 4hrs its gonna be okay, may be AC Class would have been good, this was really tiresome.
Finally we reached Agra around 5 clock. Moment we got out, auto people were literally rounding us asking which hotel and stuff it was very irritating. Finally we went with a person who looked decent.
He took us to couple of hotel, none of them looked good, but were nearby to Taj mahal and Agra fort.. Finally We settled on a hotel, which was around 2700rs per night.. Same auto person offered us to take around Agra fort and Handloom shopping.. He asked us to be ready by 1hour..
We freshened up, and first went to Agra fort.. He said we can see the fort tommorrow, but now visit Agra fort for Sound and light show..
This was one unique show, which is about the history of the fort and the Mughal Ruler.. Its like a drama, but only with sounds.
You hear voices in different places, where light is shed according to situation, like Redlights for Angry. It had already started, and it was pitch dark.. It was in Hindi.. We were there for a while, later decided to go.. Probably its only good if you have lotss of time, and have interest in history and understand old hindi very well..
