MALL OF EMIRATES
Our first stop of the day was to Mall of Emirates.. This mall is around 20kms.. We decided to use Dubai Metro train.. After using Metro in our Thailand and Delhi trip i have realised Metro is fast and Economical.
Most of malls in Dubai are quite big.. Emirates malls has lot of branded stores.. Good options of restaurants in food court..
It also has a indoor Ski resort in this mall.
Ski Dubai
Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort with 22500 sq mtr.. Park maintains temperature of -1 to 2 degrees throughout the year.
This was my first experience with Snow/Ice.. Ramesh had lived in usa before, so he had seen snowing in winter....
Once you purchase tickets, you need to pick up jackets, boots, glouse before entering the snow park..
Hightlights are beautiful ice sculptures, Penquin encounter, Snow rides, Chair Lift, Zorb Ball.. Best thing is you can stand in queue and try rides multiple times...

We had booked Desert safari for evening session.. Desert safari is a must experience if you are in Dubai.
We grabbed a sandwich from foodcourt before leaving the emirates mall.
Multiple Travel agents offer Desert safari. You can choose based on the offer... Most of them offer hotel pick up and drop, Buffet Lunch/Dinner watching the belly dancing in the desert camp, Camel ride, 30-40mins of Dune bashing in desert..
WE choose afternoon 4-8pm session as it scorching
hot in morning times..
Dune bashing best experience of our life |
After the ride we tried camel riding.. Its really scary when camel stands while you are sitting on it...
At desert Camp we can try Henna, Arabian costumes..And also has some souvenirs items if yuou want to purchase..
The beautiful evening ended with good buffet dinner, watching an amazing belly dance and other performances..
