Bandipur Tiger Reserve And National Park

DAY 2

This park is around an hour from my cousins place.. We finished breakfast at her place and headed to  Bandipur park..

It was a pleasant drive in the forest area.. Very less vehicles and there by no traffic,. On some days you might spot an animal.. So keep the windows closed and drive slow and carefully..

Bandipur National Park established in 1974 is the second highest tiger population in India.

We had booked a safari. Bus is not very comfortable, but it was managable..  Deer , Eagle and peacock can  be easily spotted. But spotting  other animals is pure luck..

We saw very less animals.. But overall good for long drive and a visit to cousins house made the over all trip a very good experience..
